Ismeca Semiconductor sold its last NT16 turret system

By the end of 2005, Ismeca Europe Semiconductor SA sold its last NT-based turret system to a large customer. The NT platform had been its "high runner" for a couple of years -- more than 1'200 systems were sold and installed worldwide. Together with the previous machine versions, Ismeca installed more than 4'000 turret-based systems worldwide and is clearly the market leader in this segment. Its NT platform was copied by many competitor, but its performance level was never reached by the "copiers".
