Job Functions:

· Evaluate and select vendors for fabricated mechanical parts based on quality, cost and delivery criteria to meet Ismeca engineering and production requirements.

· Continuously assess vendors performance and ensure uninterrupted supply of parts.

· Constantly explore and utilize new purchasing management techniques and concept to achieve higher efficiency in quality, cost and delivery expectation.

· Work closely with Supply Chain and Project Managers and Ismeca sites to ensure the achievement of cost down and localization objectives.

Requirements:

· Degree in mechanical or a related field.

· Minimum 3 years experience in customized machinery manufacturing industry is essential.

· Must possess knowledge of the various processes on fabrication of mechanical parts and dealing with machine assembly.

· Possess good knowledge of industry and technological trends.

· Possess excellent interpersonal skills, strong technical acumen, strong analytical skills and negotiation skills and communication skills with demonstrated ability to effectively interface at all business levels.

· Trustworthy, independent, initiative, responsible and able to work under pressure.

· Willing to work in Melaka.
