Goal

Develop and support vision applications for semiconductor quality inspection that will be integrated in Ismeca handlers.

Job Description / Responsibilities

You will be part of a growing team of vision engineers that is developing new vision applications for Ismeca clients. You will be required to:

• understand client requirements for vision inspection and create specifications based on these requirements
• conduct feasibility studies based on such requirements.
• provide solutions for image processing algorithms, optics and lighting and overall machine process.
• design and develop vision software applications based on given requirements and specifications.
• provide guidance for development of opto-mechanical module for such application.
• test and qualify such applications (both internally and at client site)
• support and train clients and service engineers on such applications.

Requirements

• Ph.D. or conversely Master’s + 4 years industrial experience in computer science, image processing, mathematics, physics or related field.
• Proficiency in at least one object-oriented language, preferably in C#.
• Expertise in one of the following areas: real-time systems, timing analysis and optimization, algorithm parallelization, multicore/multiprocessor programming.
• Good knowledge of UML, design patterns and OOP methodologies.
• Sharp problem-solving skills and innovative attitude.
• Hardworking and able to handle projects under high pressure.
• Knowledge of LED manufacturing and inspection process will be an advantage.
• Willing to travel up to 20% of your time.

You will be required to demonstrate and prove your skills on applying for the post. A series of very technical interviews will be held where you will be practically demonstrating these.
